Modern electrical upgrades:

Often, we need to bring homes up to date with modern electrical standards as part of our renovations. This could include adding residual current devices (RCDs) / safety switches or upgrading the switchboard to accommodate new appliances. We can also wire up with Clipsal C-Bus wiring for better connectivity and futureproofing for Internet of Things (IoT) and smart appliances.

Other times, we may need to install fire alarms as all homes being “substantially renovated” from 2017 are required to meet new regulations designated by Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.

From 2017, homes substantially renovated under a development application permit must have smoke alarms that are:

• Photoelectric
• Interconnected with other smoke alarms in the house
• In every bedroom and hallway, with at least one on every storey
• Non-ionising

Air-conditioning and Ventilation:

In addition to our team of skilled electricians, we employ a qualified refrigeration mechanic to take on air-conditioning installation for new projects and renovations. We can source most major brands, with our clients favouring reputable brands like Daikin, Fujitsu and Mitsubishi Electric. Further, any exhaust fans or positive air ventilation systems can be designed and installed by our team as well.
